Comments

Media

How long we retain your data

Delivery Policy

Delivery is subject to stock availability with our suppliers and receipt of payment.

Please note we do not deliver to farms or Informal Settlements.

We insure all of your purchases during shipping.

Courier Delivery

Deliveries will be done by a courier company engaged by JMM Powertool Service Centre (will continue with referring to it as “JMM Powertools“).

The delivery service is available from 8am to 5pm (Monday to Friday), but we recommend that you use your office address as your physical delivery address if you are not at home during the week. You may be required to sign for delivery and to provide a valid form of identification when your order is delivered.

If you are not available to take delivery of your order, we will make one further attempt at the physical address provided. However, if still unsuccessful, either JMM Powertools or the courier company, acting on behalf of JMM Powertool’s, will call to arrange for either a further delivery attempt to be made, or for you to collect your order from the courier company.

In the event that JMM Powertools and/or its appointed courier company is unable to reach you, despite all reasonable attempts to do so, using the contact details and/or physical delivery address provided during the ordering process, JMM Powertools reserves the right to cancel your order and refund you the money already paid to JMM Powertools.

Delivery Times

Our delivery times will vary between 3-7 working days depending on, among other things, product availability. JMM Powertools is committed to delivering your order within the agreed upon delivery times, however we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the specified time frame. In the event that certain of the ordered products are temporarily or permanently out of stock you will be notified immediately and a refund or a new date will be given on when to expect the product.

Costs

All orders greater than R1500 in value will be delivered free of charge. JMM Powertools, in its sole discretion, may determine that your delivery address is located in a remote area and may, upon placing your online order, request payment of an additional delivery fee. Should you object to an additional delivery fee being charged, you have the choice of cancelling your order.

All orders that amount to less than R1500 will incur a delivery fee of R175 including VAT. We do not deliver to farms or informal settlements.

Our Liability

JMM Powertools is not liable for any incorrect order or delivery where you, the customer, made an error in the information you provided to JMM Powertools, for example if you provide the incorrect delivery address or submit an incorrect order.

Should you fail to provide a valid physical address for delivery, JMM Powertools may cancel your order and refund you. In the event that it is not possible to deliver to a certain location/s, JMM Powertools will inform you using the contact details provided when making the order. We will then arrange for either the cancellation of the order or delivery to a different address.

We will ensure that all reasonable steps are taken so that your order is delivered within 3-7 business days. While JMM Powertools will always endeavor to ensure a smooth delivery process, in the event that we are unable to meet the estimated time frames, you accept and agree that JMM Powertools will not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of the late delivery of your order. You further acknowledge that the delivery of your order may be impacted by events beyond the control of JMM Powertools, such as adverse weather conditions, industrial action, or an inability to secure labour, power, internet services, GSM network connectivity, materials or supplies.

JMM Powertools delivers the products in standard packaging. You understand and accept that the packaging of products accessible on the JMM Powertools website (e.g. bottles, containers, packets) may be different from, the packaging of the product delivered to you.

Return Policy & Warranty

Goods must be in original packaging with all accessories and deemed sellable by the supplier.

All suppliers warranties and terms of warranty will be applicable.

JMM Powertools Returns/Refund Policy

Products may not be returned unless the incorrect product has been supplied by the JMM Powertools or the product is damaged or faulty. If the wrong product has been supplied, or if the product is faulty or damaged, then JMM Powertools will exchange it on condition that the customer returns the product/s within five days of receipt. In such an instance, JMM Powertools will make a reasonable effort to exchange the product upon receipt of the returned products. If replacement is not possible, then JMM Powertools will refund the purchase price including delivery cost upon receipt of the returned products together with the proof of purchase.

Complaints and notices

JMM Powertools places great value on customer satisfaction. Questions, complaints or comments should be sent by email to [email protected] . JMM Powertools will always attempt to address your concern/s as soon as reasonably possible. We will also contact you on receipt of any relevant inquiry or complaint.

In the event of a complaint, it will help JMM Powertools help you if you provide as much information as possible, accurately describing the object of your complaint. Where applicable copies of your order, or the order number.

Should you not have received any communication from us within 5 business days, please make further inquiries. (This is in the uncommon event of a communication problem where your email has been caught up in our spam filters or has not reached us, or the correspondence we have sent you may not have reached you.)

Any legal notices that you give to JMM Powertools under this contract must be sent by registered post to 12 Acutt Avenue, Parkhill, Durban, 4051, as well as a copy emailed to [email protected] . Where JMM Powertools needs to give you any notice as provided for in this contract or provide additional information about the products and services supplied to you, JMM Powertools will do so by sending you an email or posting a notice on the JMM Powertools website. You consent to JMM Powertools providing you with notice or information in this way.

Promotional Discount Codes

From time to time, JMM Powertools, may release, at its sole discretion, promotional discount codes that may be redeemed through a purchase on the JMM Powertools website. Promotional discount codes are only valid for a specified period, as stated in the details of the promotion, can only be redeemed against certain priced products on the JMM Powertools website, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional codes.

In the event of any fraud, an attempt at deception, or the suspicion of other illegal activities in connection with the promotional discount code purchase, JMM Powertools will be entitled to close your account and/or require a different means of payment. Legal action may be taken in the case of fraud.
